Nature, Awareness, Thanksgiving

I find that my greatest joys have come from my wanderings and exploration in nature. I always feel magic around me when crawling in the woods, tracking a deer or watching a great mountain breath. I feel a tickling when the wind dances with the rain almost as if it is performing for my attention. When the birds are singing, I can’t help but be present and take note. I notice that everything in nature is so alive and that it has this urgent desire to live, just like me.

One of the burning questions that guides my learning is this idea that “we are one”. This seems so woo woo! But what if? What does or could it feel like? Is this oneness formed in thought or is it part of a more ancient language. If we are all one, what does that really look like? One than with what? I can see that we are quite unique, so what is this oneness we share? What are the patterns or common links? What is my relationship to the plants, animals, weather or rocks? The questions and answers have been an ongoing journey for me. What is amazing is what happens when I entertain or change an old idea, thought or even belief. All of a sudden my experiences change. At times it seems so simple.

One of the great revealers to my biggest questions not surprisingly is Nature. Or perhaps it is just that some of the answers to my questions are easier to hear through nature. Or maybe just spending time in nature clears my mind enough so that I can hear beyond the insistent chatter. But for me the great teacher is revealed through Nature.

I have developed over the year’s two workshops that have helped me and other to remember and develop varying levels of awareness. I call this series of workshops “The Language of the Heart Through Nature Series”.

Building Relationship with the Voices of Nature

If you feel a spark, tickle or pull in the few words I have shared, than come join me sometime when I am offering one of my classes.
